MRI Technologist

Location: Brattleboro, VT
Job Type: Full-Time | Permanent
Shift: Days (Thursday–Sunday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)
Schedule: 32 Hours/Week
Salary: $95,000–$115,000/year (Negotiable, based on experience)

Position Overview

Join a collaborative Radiology team at a community hospital providing comprehensive diagnostic imaging services. As an MRI Technologist, you'll perform high-quality MRI procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and exceptional care in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• ARRT Certification (Required)
• MRI Registry (Required)
• Previous hospital-based MRI experience
• CPR Certification
• Venipuncture Certification (or obtained within 3 months of hire)
• Ability to provide two recent supervisory references

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI examinations following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to MRI safety standards and screening procedures.
• Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams.
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment while following quality assurance and infection control guidelines.
