Through unrivaled collaboration and unwavering trust, we push the boundaries of what's possible to empower our team and support our customers in building a safer global future.Overview of OpportunityAs a Two Six Technologies Lead Full-Stack Engineer, you will work as part of the Gateway and Integrations team that is responsible for supporting various middleware software components ranging from web servers to shared libraries. You'll be working closely with teams of developers that have experience with these tools to learn them, eventually taking ownership of some aspects of those tools. You will play a key role in our successful research and delivering solutions for our transition partners. The work will be on-site in our Arlington, VA office.Job Responsibilities IncludeDevelopment, versioning, and maintenance of our web stack and management of the code baseShape the operationalization and transition to government and industry usersDevelop new features per emerging user needsCollaborate in the creation and integration of new data sources, user workflows, and long-term solutions for scaling and other software concernsCollaborative construction of back-end capabilities to help expand and improve the analysis capabilitiesCollaborate in the evaluation and implementation of cutting-edge libraries and technologiesPartner with other developers on cloudification, containerization, and productization of their applicationsEngage with peers to review solutions and help ensure our team delivers maintainable and extensible solutionsMinimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in technical field and 7+ years experience working with full stack development. Comparable experience will be considered without a degree.5+ years of experience with Java3+ years experience in Python 3 development4+ years of experience with Vue.js, React, Ember or similar3 years experience engineering systems with SQL (Postgres, MySQL, etc) and NoSQL (Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.) databasesExperience with API developmentExperience with Linux, gitExperience leading or mentoring junior engineersNice-to-haves:Open source project development experienceDocker and container registry experienceAWS S3 or EC2 familiarityActive clearance up to TS/SCIClearance Requirements:Eligibility to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance up to TS/SCI levelTwo Six Technologies is committed to providing competitive and comprehensive compensation packages that reflect the value we place on our employees and their contributions.
