Your Role and Responsibilities

• Executing thorough patient evaluations, determining diagnostic needs, and creating tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or autonomously based on your credentials
• Guiding patients and their families on preventive health measures, wellness strategies, and chronic disease management
• Prescribing medications and other therapies within the designated parameters of your practice

Qualifications and Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Licensing and Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of California
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or comparable specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
