Title: Quality Control Inspector

Department: Quality

Report To: Director of Quality

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Must have 3+ years aerospace manufacturing metal experience.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals these skills are important for measuring, calibrating, and calculating specifications.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply contractual requirements, standards, specifications, governmental regulations, or technical procedures.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems and an understanding of how the system works and basic computer skills, knowledge of MS Office.
• Must have a solid understanding of Basic GD&T Concepts and a solid ability to interpret Engineering Drawings & Work Instructions.
• 1st article and final inspection per drawing and router instructions.
• Populate Inspection reports (FAIR) per AS9102.
• Verify in-process inspection Reports and Router operations have been completed by the operators and verify parts counts.
• Must have experience and proficiency working with Quality Control Inspection Hand & Bench Tools, e.g.: various micrometers, bore gages, depth gages, dial indicators, drop indicators, height gages, optical comparators, hardness checkers, profilometers, etc.
• Segregate non-conforming material and generate NCR Reports.
• Manage Final Inspection activities to meet daily shipment schedules.
