Membership & Development Coordinator

Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Membership & Development Coordinator to support member engagement, development operations, and program execution for a mission‑driven association/nonprofit organization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to ensure smooth operations, strong member experiences, and successful events and initiatives. Key Responsibilities Membership & Engagement Support Support day‑to‑day membership operations , including member records, renewals, and inquiries. Maintain accurate data in CRM or membership databases . Assist with member communications, outreach campaigns, and engagement initiatives. Support volunteer, committee, or stakeholder coordination as needed. Development & Revenue Support Assist with development operations , including donor tracking, acknowledgments, and reporting. Prepare donor correspondence, invoices, and contribution documentation. Support sponsorship and partnership coordination efforts. Work closely with finance or leadership to ensure accurate records and follow‑up. Programs & Events Provide logistical and administrative support for meetings, conferences, webinars, and events. Assist with registration, speakers, vendors, exhibitors, and on‑site or virtual coordination. Track budgets, contracts, and timelines related to programs and events. Support post‑event reporting and data cleanup. Administrative & Cross‑Functional Support Support senior staff with scheduling, coordination, and project tracking. Assist with preparing materials, reports, and presentations. Coordinate across internal teams and external partners to keep projects moving. Qualifications Required / Strongly Preferred 3+ years of experience in a nonprofit, association, or mission‑driven organization . Experience supporting membership, development, programs, or events . Strong organizational and follow‑through skills. Comfort working with CRM systems (Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or similar). Proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Nice to Have Experience supporting donor or sponsorship operations. Event or conference coordination experience.
