Immediate Start Contract Positions AvailableClient is seeking eight immediate start contractors/contract to hire. The following qualifications are required:BS in a computer related field or equivalent experience5+ years of development experience in JAVA/J2EEStrong understanding of object oriented programmingAnalyze and develop Java solutions based on customers' needsThe ability to develop technical documentationProficient knowledge of Java & J2EE (including JSP, EJB, JDBC, SQL, XML, HTML and associated technologies) and the use of those technologies in n-tier development environmentsProficient knowledge is also expected in object-oriented application development principles, theories, and concepts using J2EE specific design patterns and usageExperience with MVC frameworks Spring MVC, Hibernate, SpringREST & Web ServicesExperience with the use of version control systems for code managementSOA / Web ServicesDatabase DesignResolve technical problems and performance functionalityStrong understanding of version controlAbility to work on your own or with a teamAdaptability, organization, and a strong work ethicNice to haves:XML / XSLTJavaScript / HTML / CSSSQL / Microsoft SQL Server 2008 / Oracle DB / GIT / HTML / JavaScript / Cascading Style Sheets / CSS / JBOSS
