Certifications/Licenses: BLS, Allied License/Certification

Mandatory Experience: Certified Medical Assistant.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams and procedures, obtaining vital signs and medical histories, assisting physicians with procedures and testing, collecting and processing specimens, performing EKGs and injections, and supporting patient mobility and transportation.

The MA will also maintain exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and sterilization standards while ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements. The role requires strong collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other team members to maintain efficient patient flow and deliver excellent patient and family service. The MA may also assist with pre-certifications, train new staff or interns, and support workflow improvements across the department.

Must be highly motivated, eager to learn, dependable, and able to effectively multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.

Experience Required: 18 months of MA experience

EPIC knowledge is highly preferred
