Operations Specialist

OTC Industrial Technologies
What You'll Do:
- Enter Orders and generate purchase orders to send to vendors
- Follow up on Open Orders to ensure vendor confirmation and shipping information has been noted in SXe.
- Expedite orders as needed to meet customer's requested ship date.
- Track and report Account performance levels on On Time Deliveries.
- Work with Account Managers to develop and execute expediting plans that meet customer's needs. Assist with partner account process improvements and tracking.
- Extensive knowledge of account requirements and special situations, ability to achieve target goals.
- Work cooperatively with other OTC associates.
- Offer assistance when required.
- Invoice Monthly Billings
- Track Customer Credits
What You'll Need:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or High School Diploma with two (2) years related experience.
- Experience and knowledge of electrical and automation distribution.
- Excellent customer relation and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail oriented, including accurate data entry skills
- Capable of working independently, as well as a team member
- High level office computer skills required. I'•Jicrosoft Office knowledge a must.
- Interact with co-workers with a positive attitude to maintain a friendly and productive work environment
- A commitment to "doing it right the first time."
