Undertake general Engineering tasks as directed by Supervisor / Manager to enable the progress and completion of related projects.Key Activities and AccountabilitiesDesign, develop, and improve mechanical products and equipment.Perform engineering calculations, tolerance analyses, testing, and troubleshooting activities.Create and maintain engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.Manage engineering data and documentation within the Product Data Management (PDM) system.Support prototype builds, testing, and product validation activities.Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.Investigate and resolve engineering issues while supporting continuous product improvement.Provide technical support as required and perform other duties assigned.Job Knowledge and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline from an ABET-accredited institution.3–7 years of engineering experience in a related industry.Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar).Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Understanding of mechanical design principles, GD&T, materials selection, manufacturing processes, and basic stress analysis.Valid driver's license.Preferred QualificationsExperience with oilfield or downhole equipment.Familiarity with API specifications and recommended practices.Experience with FEA software (ANSYS preferred).Engineering-In-Training (EIT) certification.Project coordination or leadership experience.Knowledge of heat treatment, surface treatments, thermoplastics, elastomers, and composites.At Expro, we live by our values, People, Performance, Planet and Partnerships.
