We are seeking a Locum Obstetrician/Gynecologist to begin as soon as possible for ongoing work near Tapteal West, WA. A Washington state license is preferred.

• Shift Requirements: We are looking for providers who can cover multiple (5-8) in-house 24-hour call shifts each month on a long-term basis.
• Call Type: In-house.
• Practice Environment: Inpatient care.
• Essential Skills:
  • Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
  • Fetal heart rate interpretation (NST/CST/FSE)
  • Performing and interpreting OB ultrasounds
  • Routine vaginal deliveries, including low forceps assistance
  • Decision-making for cesarean sections
  • Handling complicated deliveries, including breech and multiple births
  • Management of abruptions and VBACs
  • Repair of third and fourth-degree lacerations
• Preferred Skills:
  • Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) ultrasounds
  • Surgical gynecology, including open and laparoscopic procedures
  • Minor procedures such as tubal ligation and operative/major surgeries (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy)

• Certifications: BLS certification is required.
• Fellowship: Preferred.
• Licensure: Must be licensed in Washington or hold IMLC.
• Trauma Level: Level 2 Trauma experience is necessary.
• EMR System: Familiarity with Epic is required.
• Credentialing: Expect a credentialing process of 90 to 120 days.

• Referral Bonus: A $500 bonus will be awarded for any referral who completes 30 days of work.
• Call Compensation: Competitive rates for weeknight call premiums if called in; weekend call is compensated at 6 regular hours per day when called in.
• Hourly Pay: Competitive hourly rate, along with housing, car rental, gas, mileage (for personal vehicle use only), parking, tolls, and baggage fees.
