Smart Home Technician
$17 per hourHoughton-Portage Township Schools
High Power Technical Services (HPTS), DISH Network's Regional Service Provider for Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio, is hiring Smart Home Technicians.
Technicians install and service:
- DISH Network satellite TV equipment
- Starlink satellite internet
- Boost Mobile devices
- OnTech Smart Home products
What We Offer
- Hourly pay + paid training ($17/hr during training)
- Performance raises: $1increase after training, with reviews at 4 and 12 months (up to $20/hr within first year)
- Earn up to an additional $800 per month in performance and safety bonus pay
- 40 hours PTO after 6 months
- Uncapped sales commissions up to 15% plus retail bonuses up to $1,150 per pay cycle

Minimum Requirements
- 21+ years old with a valid driver's license
- Clean criminal and driving record
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
- Comfortable using hand tools and working outdoors in all weather
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and access crawl spaces/attics
- Customer-focused with willingness to sell products and services
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
