As an Access Control Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and respond to security-related concerns. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $23.18 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeTue07:00 AM - 05:00 PMWed07:00 AM - 05:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. Verify identification, credentials, access authorizations, and visitor documentation before permitting entry to controlled areas; maintain accurate access-related logs and records. Monitor entry and exit points, alarm systems, and access-control equipment; report irregularities, unauthorized access attempts, and equipment concerns according to site procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established response protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
