Doctor of Medicine | Obstetrics and Gynecology Location: Johnstown, PA Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Obstetrics and Gynecology Position Type: Locum Tenens Start Date: 06/18/2026 Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology physician to provide 24-hour call coverage, including up to 4 hours of rounding daily. The coverage period will begin on June 18, 2026, with ongoing shifts available. The physician is not required to be on-site while providing call support. This role involves responding to emergencies related to patients with prior cesarean in labor, antepartum patients, and maternal transports from outside facilities. Key Responsibilities: Manage 24-hour OB call coverage from 7a to 7a Respond to hospital calls related to labor and delivery cases involving cesarean history, antepartum, and maternal transports Perform C-section deliveries, OB/GYN surgical procedures, operative vaginal deliveries, circumcisions, and tubal ligations Support hospital staff with OB/GYN emergencies and procedures as needed Conduct rounds on patients with prior cesarean only if no MFM is on call Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including midwives, ED, and consulting physicians Support and Schedule Details: Average onsite time typically not exceeding six hours per shift No in-house call required; physicians can provide support remotely Support staff includes full office staff, special delivery staff, midwives, ED, and MFM team EMR system in use: EPIC Call structure includes one midwife, one OB/GYN, and one maternal-fetal medicine specialist Qualifications: Valid medical license and board certification in OB/GYN Experience with cesarean deliveries and OB/GYN procedures preferred Benefits: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2 employment) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Reimbursements for licensure, certification, travel, and other expenses as applicable VHS is an Equal Opportunity Employer (“EEO”)/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/E-Verify Employer and welcomes all to apply #LiveYourLife #VHSCC Benefits Licensure -Certification - Travel and other reimbursements when applicable
