Fitness Growth Capital LLC is seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Personal Training to lead the strategic growth, financial performance, and operational excellence of our Personal Training division across multiple locations. This executive leadership role is responsible for developing leaders, driving revenue growth, improving operational consistency, and creating scalable systems that deliver exceptional member experiences and business results. The Director of Personal Training will oversee Regional Personal Training Managers while partnering with Executive Leadership, Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources to ensure the Personal Training division continues to grow and evolve. This is an executive leadership position focused on strategy, leadership development, and organizational performance rather than day-to-day club operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Develop and execute the long-term vision and growth strategy for the Personal Training division.
• Create annual and quarterly business plans that support company objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve revenue, profitability, member engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Lead new initiatives, programs, and processes that strengthen the Personal Training business.

Leadership & Team Development

• Directly lead, mentor, and develop Regional Personal Training Managers.
• Build leadership development programs that prepare future department leaders.
• Establish performance expectations and accountability standards across all levels of the Personal Training organization.
• Recruit, coach, and retain high-performing leadership talent.

Financial & Business Performance

• Drive company-wide Personal Training revenue, profitability, and overall business performance.
• Monitor key business metrics and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Develop action plans to support underperforming regions and maximize growth opportunities.
• Partner with Executive Leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.

Operational Excellence

• Develop, implement, and maintain standardized Personal Training systems and operating procedures.
• Conduct regular club visits and operational audits to ensure consistency, compliance, and execution of company standards.
• Evaluate department performance and recommend operational improvements based on business data and field observations.
• Ensure Regional Managers have the tools, resources, and support needed to successfully lead their teams.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Operations to create a seamless member experience from enrollment through long-term training.
• Work closely with Marketing to develop promotional campaigns, member education initiatives, and Personal Training awareness strategies.
• Collaborate with Finance to evaluate department performance, budgets, and profitability.
• Support Human Resources and Learning & Development with recruiting, onboarding, leadership development, and continuing education initiatives.
• Assist with new club openings, acquisitions, and company growth projects.

Qualifications

• Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Exercise Science, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of multi-unit fitness leadership experience.
• Proven success leading leaders and developing high-performing management teams.
• Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, and performance analytics.
• Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while leading large-scale organizational initiatives.
• Willingness to travel regularly between club locations.

This individual should be comfortable working alongside executive leadership while empowering Regional Managers to successfully execute the company's vision. Compensation: $85,000.00 per year.
