Position Overview

This role will take full ownership of the organization's investor accounting function, supporting capital activity, reporting, and distributions. You'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial data while partnering closely with leadership on insights and improvements.

The position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a growing, hands-on environment and wants to make a meaningful impact rather than operate in a highly siloed role.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the accounting function for investment entities, including monthly close and reconciliations
• Calculate and manage investor distributions on a recurring basis
• Maintain and track capital accounts, contributions, and investor activity
• Develop and maintain allocation models and distribution structures
• Prepare investor reporting, including performance metrics and financial summaries
• Partner cross-functionally to improve processes, reporting, and system efficiency
• Support external reporting and tax deliverables in collaboration with third-party providers

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally within fund, partnership, or investment accounting
• Strong Excel skills and ability to manage complex financial data
• Experience with capital accounts, distributions, or allocation structures
• High attention to detail and ability to manage confidential financial data
• Exposure to investment platforms or financial systems is highly preferred
