Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: September 28, 2026

Location: Madison, Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Day/Evening shifts, 12-hour shifts (0700-1900), every Friday, Saturday, Sunday. No call required.

Highlights:

• Operating Room position at a Magnet-designated, Level 1 trauma center ranked as Wisconsin's top hospital
• Strong exposure to multiple service lines including transplant (kidney/liver), endovascular procedures, trauma, neuro, ortho, and vascular surgery
• Experience with emergency cases, laparoscopic procedures, and Da Vinci robotics
• Epic charting system utilized throughout facility
• Weekend-only schedule with consistent 12-hour shifts and no on-call responsibilities
• 40 hours of comprehensive orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• BLS certification required (AHA only)
• Minimum of two years acute care OR experience within the last three years
• Strong experience in neuro, ortho, transplant (kidney/liver), trauma, and vascular procedures required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Must pass pre-employment telemetry exam with strict passing criteria (two attempts allowed)
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Willingness to float to all service lines including trauma and emergency cases
