Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed history taking and thorough physical examinations, to develop a nuanced understanding of patient needs.
• Diagnose and treat both acute and chronic medical conditions, devising appropriate treatment plans in line with the latest clinical guidelines.
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and imaging studies to inform clinical decisions effectively.
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring all aspects of patient care are considered.
• Prescribe appropriate medications, therapies, and procedures, adhering strictly to established medical protocols and hospital guidelines.
• Educate patients and their families on health management, disease prevention strategies, and available treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their care.
• Perform essential medical procedures, including but not limited to, wound suturing, joint injections, and other specialized interventions as required by patient needs.
• Meticulously document all patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in the electronic health records (EHR) system to maintain compliance and record accuracy.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

Physentra Hospital offers a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
