Ophthalmic Technician 3The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is currently seeking a full time Ophthalmic Technician 3 to work in Miami. The Ophthalmic Technician 3 (OT3) is an expert in the theory, principles, and practice of eye care. Maintains JCAHPO certifications. Ensures all equipment is calibrated and instrumentation is in proper working order.Participates in assigned clinical research and maintains required certifications.Organizes and stocks rooms for daily clinical activities.Travels to satellite eye centers when necessary.Works evenings and weekends as needed.Performs organizational duties as assigned.Completes IVI (intravitreal injection) prep for patients.Facilitates motility exams.
