Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

X-Ray TechnicianAgency must supply radiation badge or X-ray tech for Ashley River Tower. Daily caseload per tech varies. Shift: will work 3x12s weekends Friday-Sunday 7a-7:30p, with holidays as needed. Traveler will likely do orientation during the first week and then start set schedule. Is on-call REQ? Call rotation for weekly call, 3-4 days/month. Will clinician float within scope meet facility needs? Floating to other buildings on the same campus may be required. Floating req to sister facilities: yes. Required/preferred years of experience REQ: 1 year. First-timers accepted: yes. Certs/Lic required: ARRT, BLS. Certification/licenses accepted: ARRT (R) and SCRQSA (R). Experience required: C-arm experience, O-arm experience. Trauma experience preferred but not required. Radiation badge REQ: yes. Radiation badge MUST be provided by agency; MUSC does NOT provide radiation badges to travelers. Misc. radius rule? Yes, 60 miles. Are locals accepted? Yes, on a case-by-case basis at 10% less than the posted bill rate. Pending state license accepted: SC license must be in hand prior to start. RTO restrictions: all RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Guaranteed hours: facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks. Hospital highlights type of facility: teaching hospital magnet/teaching/level trauma. Total staffed beds: 865. Scrub color: teal top/black bottoms. Charting: Epic. Parking cost: nights and weekends cost only. One time payment of $20 for a parking pass.
