TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Chesapeake, Virginia, 23320!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years of RN experience required. Previous travel experience required. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required. Must-Have: Proficiency in Epic charting system. Previous experience caring for neurology/stroke patients is required. Description: Client is located in the beautiful Coastal Virginia region. It is an outdoor lover's paradise offering hiking trails for all experience levels and multiple waterways to explore. Assignment details include working with MedSurg Neuro and Stroke patients. The schedule options available are 3x12s or 4x12s. Every other weekend, floating, and holidays within the contract are required. Longer assignments through January 2027 are available but not required. Patient ratios are typically 1:7. Candidates are encouraged to be pre-closed and comfortable with the patient ratios before submission. Candidates must have no history of license or background hits. Fit testing requirements must be met, and the facility cannot accommodate specific equipment. Testing for rhythm interpretation is required. Modules prior to the start are billable and necessary for completion. Experience in accessing/managing ports, administering blood products, and managing various medical situations is necessary. The facility provides interdisciplinary support, and candidates should have experience working with neurology/stroke patients in the acute care setting.
