This role involves welding steel components in an industrial manufacturing environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. The position suits an experienced welder who is comfortable working with heavy materials, interpreting blueprints, and contributing to a fast-paced production setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel and stainless steel components in an industrial manufacturing setting.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding requirements and specifications.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Fabricate and assemble structural steel parts and production components to meet quality and dimensional requirements.
• Inspect welds for accuracy, quality, and structural integrity, making adjustments as needed to meet standards.
• Handle, position, and secure heavy materials, including lifting up to 50 lbs, to prepare for welding and fabrication.
• Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate protective equipment while working with welding tools and heavy materials.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to support smooth production flow.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet daily output targets and ensure timely completion of projects.
• Document work as required and communicate any issues, defects, or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel.

• Minimum of 1 year of MIG welding experience.
• Experience welding steel and stainless steel materials.
• At least 1 year of experience working in an industrial or manufacturing facility.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of welding tools, techniques, and safety standards.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and handle heavy materials safely.
• Ability to stand for extended periods while performing welding and fabrication tasks.

• Experience in structural steel welding and fabrication.
• Background in production or high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and correct welding defects.

Work Environment

This position is based in an industrial manufacturing facility focused on steel and stainless steel welding and fabrication. The role operates on a first shift schedule, Monday through Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., providing a four-day workweek with long, consistent shifts. You will work around welding equipment, heavy materials, and production machinery, and you will spend most of the day standing and performing hands-on tasks. Proper safety gear and adherence to safety procedures are essential in this environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Dale, WI.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
