Details 22-bed telemetry/med-surg unit caring for complex patients including CHF, stroke, ESRD, and post-op cases Patients admitted from ICU, ED, and PACU Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly 0.9 FTE position Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) BLS certification required ACLS, NIHSS, and annual dysrhythmia competency validation required within 6 months of hire ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred No prior nursing experience required, though preferred Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices Additional Information Provide direct patient care including comprehensive assessments, treatment implementation, and care coordination Facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities including patient and family education Collaborate with inter-professional care team and delegate tasks appropriately to team members Participate in unit-based quality improvement activities including patient satisfaction, falls prevention, and documentation audits First-time travelers are welcome to apply American Traveler Job ID P-749773.
