The individual will partner with BAM leadership and subject matter experts to identify, research, and execute the Firm’s strategic priorities by:Contributing to the creation and supporting the execution of the firm’s strategic planPerforming due diligence on potential new strategies, products, and businessesLeading cross functional projects to build new or improve existing firm capabilitiesINTERFACES WITH:This highly visible role reports into the Head of Strategy. This individual will also work closely with the other members of the Strategy team well as members of the Management and Investment Committees and subject matter experts inside and outside the firm.EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:10+ years of overall experience and 5+ years of experience in financial servicesExperience in management consulting and / or hedge funds requiredMBA or advanced degree preferredQUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Structured, logical thinker with ability to get up to speed on new topics quickly and approach projects in an organized and thoughtful wayStrong leader with a focus on hiring, retaining, and developing top talentIntellectually curious with track record of going beyond surface level analysis with fact-based research and creative, resourceful thinkingOrganized and adaptable with ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrentlyDemonstrated analytical rigor in quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial modelingStrong written and verbal communication with ability to condense research into concise views
