Family Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner needed for a contract opportunity with our occupational health clinic located in Joliet, IL. Schedule: Monday and Wednesday 10am to 7pm; Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8am to 5pm Duration: 8/10-11/8 with possible extension or direct placement Pay: $65-78/hr DOE Estimated Min Rate : $65.00 Estimated Max Rate : $78.00 What You’ll Be Doing: Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines Performs procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management Develops patient care plans, records progress, and ensures continuity of care Educates patients on treatment plans, health maintenance, and development Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed Maintains patient health records ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation and records Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices Performs other duties as assigned What You Need to Bring to the Table: All NP licenses and education to practice Current BLS certification Occ Health experience preferred but open to candidates with related experience DOT certification 2+ years of FNP primary care experience Bilingual is a plus What’s In It For You?
