Logistics Specialist (Material Handler/Delivery Driver) – Phoenix, AZ Job Category: Operations Requisition Number: LOGIS008026 Posted: April 8, 2026 Position Type: Full-Time, On-site Role Summary The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including the unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS is expected to represent TireHub professionally in all customer interactions, maintain safe driving practices, and deliver exceptional customer service while fostering strong customer relationships. Roles and Responsibilities Distribution of tasks including: general warehousing, delivery services, vehicle maintenance. Adjustments made as business needs evolve. Load, unload, inspect, and tally tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans). Follow TireHub safety standards for selecting, packing, counting, labeling, palletizing customer orders, and positioning them in designated locations using the bin locator system. Operate equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Conduct and participate in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regularly scheduled and annual inventory control procedures. Collect payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions. Ensure vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical and physical condition. Conduct pre/post‑trip vehicle inspections daily and immediately report any operational issues or mechanical defects. Complete all necessary driver and vehicle maintenance logs on a regular basis. Ensure compliance with all TireHub policies and procedures. Participate and maintain ongoing training through in‑class, in‑person, or computer‑based learning modules, as assigned. Requirements At least 1 year of general work experience. Valid driver’s license; minimum 2 years of driving history (does not include driver’s permit). Must be 19 years old or older. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to repeatedly lift, pull, push and/or move tires (up to 50lbs) with or without mechanical assistance. Capable of frequent bending, twisting and lifting. Multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Accurately and efficiently load, unload and place tires in warehouse and delivery vehicles. Work up to 35 feet above ground level. Work up to 8 hours per day on a forklift. Follow traffic rules and regulations by safely driving TireHub vehicles to deliver tires to customer locations. Work independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with Manifest, GPS and Navigation systems. Maintain a forklift certification. Maintain a valid driver’s license. Working Conditions Required to lift, pull, push, and/or move tires (up to 50 lbs. or greater with or without mechanical assistance following standard operating and safety procedures). Other physical requirements include standing, walking, kneeling, bending, crawling, climbing and balancing. Possibly handle hazardous materials and wear protective equipment (gloves, eyewear, etc.). Specific vision requirements may include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Work and operate equipment in settings ranging from non‑climate‑controlled warehouses to customer locations. Extended day, evening, and weekend work (including Saturday) may be required, often with little to no advanced notice. Driving during night or inclement weather may be required. Must not exceed 400 pounds in weight or 6 feet 3 inches in height, to meet physical compatibility with equipment and safety restraints.
