Electrical Service Division Manager Salary: $140,000-$180,000 Beckett Electrical Services is a family-owned and operated commercial electrical contractor proudly serving the Central Texas market. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking an experienced Electrical Service Division Manager to lead our Service Department and help shape the future of our company. Key Responsibilities Provide daily leadership and management for a team of 25+ employees, including Customer Service Managers, Superintendents, Field Technicians, Lighting personnel, and Administrative staff. Develop and execute strategies that support department growth and long‑term success. Lead weekly Service Department meetings and promote accountability throughout the team. Create, manage, and monitor departmental budgets. Review and approve employee timesheets, customer billings, and accounts payable invoices. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers while supporting business development efforts. Promote a positive, safety‑first culture in partnership with our Safety Department. Monitor departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, billing, collections, gross margin, and overall profitability. Collaborate with Construction, Operations, Accounting, HR, and other departments to effectively manage manpower and resources. Identify operational challenges and develop proactive solutions to support project success. Coach, mentor, and develop employees while fostering a positive, team‑oriented culture. Be available to respond to emergency service calls and critical operational issues outside of normal business hours as needed to support customers and business operations. Requirements/Qualifications Experience Minimum of 3 years of Service Manager experience within the commercial electrical industry. Proven experience leading multiple teams in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment. Demonstrated experience managing departmental budgets, financial reporting, scheduling, estimating, proposal development, and overall service operations. Experience coordinating with Austin Energy. Experience obtaining permits with the City of Austin and surrounding municipalities. Proven ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with General Contractors, property managers, and direct‑to‑consumer customers. Licensing Valid Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) Journeyman Electrician License or higher required. Master Electrician License preferred. Technical Knowledge Thorough knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and a demonstrated commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Leadership & Business Skills Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and people management skills. Strong business development and customer relationship management abilities. Ability to analyze operational challenges and implement effective, solution‑oriented strategies. Demonstrated ability to make sound business decisions while balancing customer satisfaction, employee development, and departmental profitability.
