Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a driver for the Watertown, SD market. The driver is responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of automotive and industrial paint products and related supplies to customers from Watertown to Aberdeen, SD. This role serves as a representative of the company during deliveries and requires professionalism, reliability, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to customer service. The driver ensures products are transported and delivered in excellent condition while maintaining positive customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a company delivery vehicle to transport products to body shops, industrial facilities, and other customer locations.
• Verify and load customer orders accurately based on invoices or packing slips.
• Unload deliveries at customer sites, ensuring products are delivered in good condition.
• Maintain delivery logs, mileage reports, and delivery records as required.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist in warehouse duties when needed (e.g., stocking, picking, packing).
• Provide excellent service and represent Colours, Inc. in a professional and courteous manner.

Additional Duties:

• Transport company vans/trucks
• Support store operations by assisting with freight processing, stocking shelves, organizing inventory, mixing paint, maintaining store cleanliness, and other operational tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Previous experience in route delivery required; warehouse or distribution is a plus.
• Good communication skills and a strong customer service mindset.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work independently.
• Knowledge of local delivery routes and territory is helpful.

• Comfortable with basic technology tools, such as handheld devices, routing apps, and delivery logs.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. and performing delivery tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintains a clean driving record and always represents Colours, Inc. in a professional manner.
