Responsibilities
- Independently manage implanted cardiac rhythm management devices, including pacemakers, implantable defibrillators, and implanted loop recorders (CRM devices) within the outpatient CRM program.
- Perform device interrogations, programming, testing, and troubleshooting while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms, interpret findings, and initiate appropriate interventions per established guidelines.
- Document assessments, device data, and care interventions in the electronic medical record; maintain accurate device logs.
- Educate patients about device function, follow-up plans, activity restrictions, and what to expect after device-related procedures.
- Collaborate with cardiology team to coordinate patient care across diagnostic and follow-up pathways; participate in quality and safety activities as needed.

Requirements
- Active RN license on file; current licensure to practice in Vermont or eligibility with successful credentialing.
- BLS certification.
- Pacemaker/ICD technician program or equivalent job experience.
- Knowledge of cardiac rhythm management, cardiac devices, and cardiovascular physiology.
- EPIC experience within the last 2 years.
- Availability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30; ability to function effectively in an outpatient CRM program.
