Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health status and develop tailored treatment plans that address their unique needs. Deliver high-quality counseling and therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to support clients in their journeys towards improved mental health. Maintain accurate, confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Monitor and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure ongoing effectiveness and responsiveness to clients' changing needs. Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss treatment strategies, share insights, and enhance the overall delivery of care. Engage in community outreach initiatives to promote mental health awareness and connect with potential clients across the region. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work with a wide range of clients, including individuals experiencing mental health disorders, couples navigating relational challenges, and families seeking guidance for holistic well-being. You'll support clients dealing with issues such as anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, relationship conflicts, and other psychological concerns. Your work will play a pivotal role in transforming their mental health journeys and fostering healthier relationships. Qualifications A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field. An active and unrestricted state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a therapeutic setting. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with exceptional communication skills. A proven track record of establishing meaningful relationships with clients, built on trust and respect. Preferred Experience Experience working in a remote environment and utilizing telehealth technology effectively. Familiarity with specific therapeutic methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), or narrative therapy. Experience in substance use disorder counseling or other specialized areas is a plus.
