Key Responsibilities\n

• Engage in collaborative treatment planning with other healthcare professionals in a virtual setting to ensure holistic patient care, effectively addressing all aspects of a client’s mental and emotional well-being.

• Respond quickly to families experiencing acute crises, offering immediate virtual support and guidance to stabilize challenging situations and resolve conflicts through approachable online communication methods.

• Conduct initial and ongoing virtual assessments to develop personalized treatment plans, regularly tracking client progress and modifying approaches as necessary to enhance therapy effectiveness.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions through secure telehealth platforms, employing a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, and Psychotherapy tailored to client needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the privilege of working with diverse clients experiencing a range of mental health and substance use challenges. Your practice will be particularly focused on providing compassionate care to families in crisis, helping them navigate through their struggles while fostering resilience and strength.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Valid and active State licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or equivalent in California.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in therapeutic practice, providing vital services to clients in need.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience facilitating group therapy sessions is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with leveraging multiple telehealth platforms and technological tools including video conferencing and secure communication software.

• Knowledge of mental health and/or substance abuse diagnostics, with an ability to perform comprehensive assessments to inform treatment strategies.

Compensation and Benefits\n
