Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)Required Qualifications:H.S. Diploma -OR- GED EquivalencyUpon Hire: Texas Pharmacy Technician Trainee upon hire -OR- Texas Registered Pharmacy Technician License1 or more years (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 or more years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certifiedPreferred Qualifications:Coursework/Training: Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician ProgramSpecialty certification (e.g., ACPE approved sterile compounding certification) where applicable by role and statePrevious experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)Why Join Providence?
