Ächtung Kraft is a small, focused team in Salem, Wisconsin . We design, manufacture, and ship premium Porsche parts to enthusiasts around the world while also building one-of-a-kind custom cars in our shop.

We’re looking for a Custom Automotive Parts Technician who enjoys working with their hands, cares about the details, and wants to learn.

This is an entry-level position . You don’t need to be an automotive technician or experienced fabricator. What matters more is that you take pride in your work, can follow a process, manage your time, and genuinely want to become good at making things.

Every product that leaves our shop represents us. The finish, fit, fasteners, function, packaging—and all the little details—matter.

What You'll Be Doing

Your primary focus will be helping assemble, finish, inspect, and prepare our automotive products for customers around the world.

Parts Assembly & Production

• Assemble Porsche parts, components, and hardware.
• Follow established assembly and production processes.
• Check fit, finish, function, and consistency.
• Help keep production organized and projects moving toward deadlines.

Finishing & Detail Work

• Sand, polish, de-burr, clean, and finish components.
• Prepare parts for powder coating, paint, and other finishes.
• Inspect your own work and identify problems before a product moves forward.
• Perform final detailing and carefully package finished products.

Quality & Craftsmanship

• Learn what separates acceptable work from exceptional work.
• Develop an eye for scratches, alignment, fit, finish, and small imperfections.
• Learn to balance quality with productivity and deadlines.
• Take responsibility for the quality of the work you produce.

Who We're Looking For

You don’t need an automotive résumé. We care much more about how you work, what you're interested in, and whether you want to learn.

You may be someone who works on cars or motorcycles, builds things in your garage, restores old equipment, does woodworking or metalworking, builds models, experiments with 3D printing, or simply enjoys taking things apart to understand how they work.

You'll probably fit well here if you:

Experience That Helps

Professional automotive experience is not required . Experience or hobbies involving any of these are a plus:

·       Cars, motorcycles, or mechanical projects

·       Sanding, polishing, painting, or refinishing

·       Fabrication, welding, woodworking, or metalworking

·       3D printing, CAD, CNC, electronics, or maker projects

·       Upholstery or other detail-oriented crafts

Where This Can Lead

We see this position as a starting point, not the destination .

The first step is learning the fundamentals: details, finishing, quality, process, productivity, and managing deadlines.

As you demonstrate those skills, there can be opportunities to learn more of what we do—from fabrication and prototyping to product development and eventually working directly on our custom Porsche builds.

We want someone interested in building skills and growing into more responsibility over time.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to work with your hands and perform physical tasks throughout the day, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to take instruction and constructive feedback.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position at our shop in Salem, Wisconsin , with overtime as needed.
