ServiceNow DeveloperDuration: 3-6 Months Location: Chicago, IL (Hybrid - 3 days from office)Key Responsibilities – ServiceNow DevelopmentDesign, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications including ITSM, Service Catalog, workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, and notificationsBuild and maintain custom scoped applications using the ServiceNow App EngineDevelop and enhance Service Catalog items, request workflows, approvals, and fulfillment processesPerform unit testing, support UAT, and assist with production deploymentsTroubleshoot and resolve defects, performance issues, and configuration gapsEnsure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, security, and governanceMaintain technical documentation for configurations, integrations, and customizationsSupport platform upgrades, patching, and release impact analysisKey Responsibilities – Azure IntegrationDesign, develop, and support integrations between ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure using REST APIs, Webhooks, and IntegrationHub.Integrate Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Azure Alerts with ServiceNow ITOM / Event ManagementConfigure MID Server-based secure connectivity where requiredIntegrate Azure Active Directory (Entra ID) for user, group, and role-based access workflowsDevelop automation workflows for Azure resource lifecycle management (intake, provisioning, change, decommission)Support cloud governance workflows across Azure subscriptions, resource groups, RBAC, and policiesTroubleshoot Azure integration failures and ensure secure authentication and authorizationKey SkillsServiceNow: • JavaScript (client-side and server-side) • Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts • Flow Designer and Workflow Editor • Service Catalog and Request Fulfillment • Custom scoped application development • ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Request)Azure & Integration: • REST APIs, JSON, Webhooks • Azure Monitor, Alerts, Log Analytics • ServiceNow ITOM / Event Management • MID Server architecture • Azure AD (Entra ID), RBAC, subscription hierarchyPreferred Certifications • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900)Soft Skills• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Ability to work across cloud, security, and operations teams • Clear communication and documentation skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities in enterprise environments
