MRI Technologist

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift: 3x12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Thursday to Saturday. Every Saturday is required.

The MRI Technologist will perform a variety of MRI examinations, including specialized studies such as Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI during the day shift, and general scans compatible with bread-and-butter imaging during the night shift. This role will require the technologist to float between outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department needs based on hospital coverage demands.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans on patients with a diverse range of acuity, ensuring accurate and timely imaging outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
• Maintain proper documentation and patient records within the EPIC charting system.
• Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during MRI procedures.
• Administer contrast media when necessary, in accordance with established protocols.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT-MR or ARRT-IT certification is required.
• Valid Washington state license for MRI Technologist.
• Preferred experience with neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents.
