Talent Acquisition Business Partner 1

Overview Talent Acquisition Business Partner - Level 2, located in Redondo Beach, CA (90278). Duration: 6 months. Pay rate: $30.48/hr. Start Date: Immediate. Ability to obtain a U.S Government clearance. Responsibilities Manage full life cycle recruitment for regional and/or division-specific requisitions including administrative, hourly technicians, exempt professionals, managers, and directors. Develop creative sourcing strategies to attract top candidates and share best practices with the team. Assess candidates for cultural, competency, and skill fit; synthesize feedback; pre-close candidates to ensure high offer acceptance. Advise hiring managers on effective interviewing techniques and collaborate across the organization to ensure a smooth process and required business objectives. Ensure a strong pipeline for open positions. Influence key stakeholders with business acumen; develop trusting relationships and drive business outcomes. Leverage data and market intelligence and collaborate with other functional areas to advise the business and execute staffing strategies. Understand and adhere to compliance and talent acquisition processes. Collaborate with leaders and key stakeholders to ensure a positive candidate experience. Perform other duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications Level 2: Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of relevant professional experience in recruiting and/or sourcing, or master’s degree with 1+ year of relevant experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree. Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to operate in a high-volume environment. Full life cycle staffing experience including sourcing, identifying, and attracting top talent. Ability to define and implement research and sourcing strategies for critical positions. Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Ability for occasional domestic travel to assist with events and support the business. Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance. Preferred Qualifications Aerospace/defense industry experience with understanding relevant skills, target companies, and user groups. Active in the social digital and recruitment arena.
