Job Summary: Oversee the daily operations of the paint and bagging area. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient, accurate, and timely flow of goods while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and cost-effectiveness. The supervisor will manage a team, monitor performance, collaborate with other departments, and ensure that all logistics operations align with company goals. Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the production & bagging teams, ensuring goals are met. Assess team performance and identify areas for training and development. Evaluate logistics providers, make recommendations for improvement, and negotiate contracts as needed. Oversee scheduling to ensure timely deliveries and on-time production. Conduct audits to ensure compliance with company policies and resolve any discrepancies. Collaborate with other departments to address any shortages and meet production demands. Maintain a focus on continuous improvement to enhance logistics and operational efficiency. Ensure the safety of team members by adhering to safety regulations and protocols. Required Skills/Abilities: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and delegate responsibilities. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technologies. Knowledge of domestic and international shipping documentation and terminology. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and solve problems. Forklift experience and ability to safely lift and move up to 70 lbs. Knowledge of logistics operations, including transportation and inventory management. Education and Experience: 2-4 years of prior supervisory experience in manufacturing, production, or logistics. Bi-Lingual in Spanish High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management preferred.
