We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our educational team in the Seattle area. In this role, you will partner with educators, administrators, related service providers, and families to develop and implement effective behavioral supports that help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

The BCBA serves as a key behavioral consultant, providing assessments, staff training, intervention planning, and data-informed recommendations that promote positive outcomes for students and support safe, inclusive learning environments.

What You'll Do

Behavioral Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral evaluations.

• Observe students across educational environments, including classrooms, playgrounds, and community-based settings.

• Collect and analyze behavioral data to identify student needs and guide intervention planning.

• Collaborate with families and school teams to develop effective support strategies.

Intervention Planning & Support

• Develop, monitor, and revise Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).

• Design individualized behavior supports and reinforcement systems.

• Support implementation of evidence-based ABA strategies aligned with IEP goals.

• Develop crisis prevention and response plans when appropriate.

Consultation & Collaboration

• Partner with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, SLPs, OTs, and other multidisciplinary team members.

• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral expertise to student planning.

• Provide recommendations for accommodations, supports, and related services.

• Serve as a behavioral resource for school-wide initiatives and student support programs.

Training & Coaching

• Deliver professional development and training on:

• ABA principles and practices

• Positive behavior supports

• Behavior intervention strategies

• Data collection and progress monitoring

• Coach teachers, paraprofessionals, behavior technicians, and support staff.

• Monitor fidelity of implementation and provide ongoing support.

Data & Compliance

• Develop systems for data collection and progress monitoring.

• Analyze intervention effectiveness and recommend adjustments as needed.

• Prepare reports and communicate findings to educational teams and stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with IDEA, district policies, and special education requirements.

Qualifications

Required

• Current Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification in good standing.
