Landscape Maintenance Foreman – Luxury Residential Properties Location: Tempe, AZ Pay: $24-$28 per hour, based on experience Schedule: Full-time, Tuesday-Friday, four 10-hour shifts | 6:00 AM start Hours: Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with overtime eligibility Bonus Opportunities: Summer and Year-End Bonuses Lead Exceptional Landscape Care Teams Refined Gardens is seeking an experienced Landscape Maintenance Foreman to lead and work alongside a crew maintaining some of Arizona's most distinctive residential properties. This is a hands-on working foreman position, not a typical mow-and-blow landscape role. Our clients expect exceptional attention to detail, proactive communication, proper horticultural practices, and landscapes maintained to a consistently high standard. Our teams maintain large luxury residential properties throughout Scottsdale, Paradise Valley, and surrounding communities. What You'll Do Lead and work alongside an assigned landscape maintenance crew on a scheduled residential route Take ownership of assigned properties and understand their recurring landscape needs Plan and assign work to keep the crew productive and maintain consistent quality throughout each property visit Complete a final quality inspection before leaving each property Identify issues involving plant health, pruning, irrigation, drainage, turf, lighting, pests, and overall landscape appearance Monitor irrigation operation during routine service, identify obvious failures or coverage problems, perform basic troubleshooting when appropriate, and promptly report repair needs Recognize maintenance concerns and enhancement opportunities before they become client issues Communicate property conditions, client concerns, and recommended improvements to management Train, coach, and mentor crew members on proper horticultural practices, pruning techniques, equipment use, safety procedures, and company standards Maintain accountability for crew productivity, quality, professionalism, and jobsite cleanliness Record labor hours, job notes, photos, and property updates using company software Take before-and-after photos and accurately document completed work Safely operate company trucks, trailers, tools, and commercial landscape equipment Ensure vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment remain clean, organized, secure, and properly maintained Represent Refined Gardens professionally while interacting with clients, vendors, and trade partners What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of landscape maintenance, fine gardening, or landscape foreman experience Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a small crew Strong working knowledge of ornamental plant care, proper pruning techniques, irrigation systems, seasonal landscape needs, and plant-health identification Familiarity with plants and landscape conditions common to the Phoenix and Scottsdale market Ability to identify and communicate landscape issues proactively Professional appearance and demeanor appropriate for luxury residential properties Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable using smartphones and mobile apps for documentation and reporting Experience safely operating landscape trucks, trailers, and commercial landscape equipment preferred Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical landscape work outdoors in Arizona conditions Bilingual English/Spanish preferred but not required Who Thrives Here Leaders who take ownership and address problems before they become client issues Professionals who notice details others miss and take pride in exceptional workmanship Team members who value accountability, continuous improvement, and long-term growth Ready to Grow With Us?
