Growing together.As a Specialty Pharmacy Liaison with CPS Solutions, LLC, you will engage directly with patients to coordinate pharmacy services through the health system's specialty pharmacy. The liaison collaborates closely with the CPS Patient Care Services team and works under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.Pharmacy Location: Positions available at Southern Ohio Medical Center locations in Ironton, OH and Portsmouth, OHSchedule: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pmPrimary Responsibilities:Explain the benefits of specialty pharmacy services to patients and support their participation in the programAssist with enrolling patients into the specialty pharmacy programComplete benefits investigations, prior authorizations, and financial assistance tasks to help ensure patients can access prescribed medicationsCoordinate with pharmacy team members to support accurate and timely processing of patient ordersProvide direct patient support through outbound adherence and refill reminder calls and assist with inbound patient inquiriesRoute clinical questions to the appropriate clinician as neededYou'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.Required Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentActive Pharmacy Technician license in good standing in the state of OhioRecent work experience as a Pharmacy TechnicianPreferred Qualifications:College degreeAdditionally licensed as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of KentuckyPTCBExperience supporting clinical pharmacy programs and performing administrative tasks such as prior authorizations and data entrySolid knowledge of medication regimens, age-specific dosing, and managed care practicesProficient in pharmacy systems, care management platforms, and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment.
