Job Details Facility: GSS ND Larimore Ctr Location: Larimore, ND Address: 501 E Front St, Larimore, ND 58251, USA Shift: 12 Hours - Night Shifts Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 36.00 Salary Range: $32.50 - $48.00 Pay Info: Eligible for $30,000 sign on bonus! Department Details: Full Time - Overnight RN, starts at $32.50+ based on experience, includes every other weekend and holiday rotation, eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision benefits and additional shift differentials for overnights and weekends. Responsibilities Provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long term care under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Demonstrate knowledge of nursing principles tailored to residents in the relevant clinical setting. Perform competency and practice within the scope of nursing expertise, utilizing age and population specific standards per care plan. Perform testing to evaluate data reflective of resident’s status and provide the needed care. Recognize problems, recommend solutions, and respond effectively in emergent situations. Ensure the health, comfort, and safety of residents. Contribute to the assessment of residents and administer medications or treatments as ordered. Provide technical support to healthcare professionals as needed. Document resident interactions and outcomes related to care, medication, behavior, activity, and diet. Establish and maintain effective working relationships with residents, health care providers, and the public. Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Counsel residents, family members, and/or advocate on prevention and treatment plans under RN direction. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Associate degree in practical nursing preferred. For IV therapy/management positions: graduate from a Board-approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or complete an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing. Have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience across the life span (minimum 400 LPN hours at another facility if applicable). Hold an unencumbered LPN license with the State Nursing Board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. Obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications.
