Quality Control Laboratory Technician

Quality Control Laboratory Technician We are seeking a Quality Control Laboratory Technician to support laboratory operations and quality testing activities for a new product line within a regulated environment. This role will perform laboratory testing, document results, support validation activities, and help ensure products meet established quality standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on laboratory experience, strong technical documentation skills, and experience working with microbiological testing methodologies. Key Responsibilities Perform quality control testing to ensure products meet established specifications and quality standards Conduct laboratory assays using common laboratory equipment including pipettes and analytical instruments Visually inspect samples and materials for defects or nonconformance Accurately document testing activities and enter results into electronic systems Identify, document, and escalate out-of-specification results and quality concerns Support assay validations, change control documentation, and technical writing activities Assist with the development, review, and execution of validation protocols and test cases Follow all laboratory safety procedures, quality standards, and compliance requirements Participate in required training programs and maintain current procedural knowledge Support additional laboratory and quality-related activities as assigned Required Qualifications Associate's degree with a minimum of 3 years of laboratory or related experience, or Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, or a related life sciences discipline Experience performing laboratory testing in a quality-controlled environment Strong technical writing and documentation skills Experience using MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to learn and use laboratory and quality management software systems Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical procedures and testing protocols Preferred Qualifications Experience operating a pH meter, analytical balance, and UV spectrophotometer Experience with aseptic techniques and microbiological testing Knowledge of bioburden testing, membrane filtration, and direct inoculation methodologies Experience supporting instrument validation activities and protocol execution Experience in a regulated medical device or life sciences environment Knowledge of quality assurance and laboratory compliance practices The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
