At CCT Enterprises, our 2nd shift runs Monday–Thursday on four 10-hour shifts, giving you a three-day weekend every week. As a Swiss-Type CNC Set-Up Specialist, you’ll be the go-to expert who gets parts running right the first time—and keeps them that way.

You arrive, review job travelers and setup docs, and head straight to your Swiss-style CNC lathe. You install and dial-in tooling, holders, guide bushings, workholding, and the bar feeder. You verify tooling offsets, make minor program edits if needed, and produce a first piece that hits spec. Throughout the run, you monitor tool wear, chatter, and dimensional variation, making adjustments to maintain tight tolerances while minimizing scrap and downtime. You keep production flowing, update inspection and production records, and communicate any delays or process concerns to supervision. Before close, you hand off clear notes and leave your area clean, organized, and safe.

• Perform complete setups on established CNC Swiss jobs
• Read and interpret blueprints, setup sheets, job travelers, and work instructions
• Install/adjust tooling, holders, guide bushings, bar feeders, and workholding
• Execute tool changes, set offsets, and make minor program edits when required
• Verify first-piece quality and sustain part conformity through the run
• Monitor machine performance and resolve issues tied to tooling, chatter, wear, or drift
• Hit production targets while cutting scrap and downtime
• Follow ISO/IATF procedures, complete in-process inspections, and maintain accurate records
• Troubleshoot setup/machining challenges independently and support continuous improvement
• Collaborate with supervisors, quality, and operators; mentor less-experienced teammates
• Maintain a safe, orderly workstation; report hazards and understand E‑stop procedures

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of CNC Swiss setup experience with proven independent setups
• Blueprint literacy and confidence using precision measuring equipment
• Solid grasp of tooling, offsets, and speeds/feeds; ability to perform minor edits
• Reliable transportation, dependable attendance, and the ability to work with minimal supervision

• High-volume manufacturing experience
• Background with Citizen, Star, Tsugami, or similar Swiss platforms
• Mechanical troubleshooting strengths and multi-machine operation experience
• Familiarity with ISO/IATF environments

This role is: independent Swiss setups on established production work; troubleshooting machining/tooling; maintaining efficiency and quality; supporting operators and CI.

This role is not: entry-level operating, programming-only, or push-the-button production.

You’ll need hands-on Swiss setup experience and the confidence to support production with minimal oversight.
