Senior Accountant

LHH is partnering with a well-established professional services organization in Palm Beach Gardens to hire a Senior Accountant / Accounting ManagerWhile professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.This is a 100% onsite opportunity offering a base salary of $85,000–$100,000+, with flexibility for the right candidate, plus a discretionary bonus.The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background within a law firm, CPA firm, public accounting firm, consulting firm, or similar professional services environment. Prior legal industry experience is preferred, even if it is not recent.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport day-to-day accounting operationsAssist with financial reporting, budgeting, and general ledger activitySupport month-end close and account reconciliationsAssist with client billing, invoicing, billable hours, WIP, and related accounting processesWork closely with partners, leadership, and internal staffMaintain accurate financial records in accordance with GAAPSupport payroll processing as neededAssist with process improvements and accounting efficienciesUtilize Excel for reporting, analysis, and reconciliationsSupport the Finance Manager and broader accounting teamQualifications5+ years of accounting and/or finance experienceSenior Accountant or Accounting Manager-level experiencePrior experience within a law firm, CPA firm, public accounting firm, consulting firm, or similar professional services environmentLaw firm experience strongly preferred, even if from an earlier roleExperience with client billing, invoicing, billable hours, WIP, or similar professional services accounting processesStrong knowledge of GAAPStrong financial reporting experienceAdvanced Excel skillsPayroll experience preferredAderant Expert or similar legal/professional services accounting software is a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skillsComfortable working directly with partners and leadershipDetail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines xhyhwjd Schedule100% onsite in Palm Beach GardensMonday–FridayFlexible hours between 8:30 AM–5:30 PM or 9:00 AM–6:00 PMCompensation$85,000–$100,000+ base salaryFlexibility for highly qualified candidatesDiscretionary bonusBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disability401(k)80 hours of vacation to start48 hours of PTO2 floating holidaysIf you have experience in a professional services accounting environment and are interested in a long-term growth opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
