Type: Full-time Administrator (12-month; reports to the Head of School) Posted: July 2026 Evansville Day School (Day School), in partnership with parents, offers a student-centered, college preparatory program supported by a challenging and comprehensive curriculum that encourages each student from Junior Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 to strive for excellence in mind, body, and human spirit. EDS was founded in 1946 and remains the only independent school in the Southwest Indiana (tri-state) region. The school enrolls approximately 300 students and boasts a 40-acre wooded campus, an impressively diverse student body, and 100% four-year college placement. Job Summary: Develops and strengthens meaningful relationships with donors, alumni, families, volunteers, and community partners through thoughtfully designed engagement opportunities that foster connection and deepen affinity for Evansville Day School. Collaborates with school leadership and key stakeholders to advance institutional priorities, elevate constituent experiences, and support long term community investment in the mission and future of Evansville Day School. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and execute donor engagement and stewardship events throughout the year, creating meaningful opportunities to recognize supporters, strengthen constituent relationships, and encourage philanthropic investment in the school’s mission. Serve as a primary liaison to Friends of Evansville Day School, fostering strong collaboration between school leadership and parent volunteers to advance community engagement, fundraising initiatives, and institutional priorities. Provide leadership and oversight for the school’s Annual Campaign, including strategic planning, communications, donor engagement, solicitation efforts, and campaign reporting to support annual fundraising goals. Support the Head of School in advancing the school’s philanthropic priorities through donor cultivation, stewardship, and relationship management efforts, helping to strengthen engagement with current and prospective donors and build a sustainable culture of philanthropy. Other duties may be assigned by the Head of School or Division Director. Skills and Qualifications: Demonstrated success in independent schools, nonprofit organizations, higher education, fundraising, communications, and/or event planning. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational, analytical, and project management abilities. Commitment to fostering an inclusive and welcoming community.
