Material Handler (1st shift)

Material HandlerQPS Employment Group is hiring a Material Handler for a company in Ixonia, WI. This is an associate to hire opportunity.Material Handler Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to supply lines with necessary food supplies prior to packaging or final finished packaged food goods to be shippedPerform daily truck/trailer inspections to ensure equipment is safe and in working conditionMonitor production lines and supplies packaging items as needed with use of forklift, after certificationReturn unused packaging materials post-production to warehouse by performing physical inventory and scanning to the appropriate locations using RF gunsLabel and store materials and supplies within the warehouse and trailers according to part number/descriptionReceive and inspect incoming shipments for discrepancies and damages; document as necessaryMaterial Handler Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally throughout shift (8-10 hours)Ability to sit for long periods of time throughout shift (8-10 hours)Ability to bend, crouch, kneel, and lift throughout shift (8-10 hours)Ability to do basic math including addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionAbility to follow written and verbal directionsPrior forklift experience required (sit-down and/or stand-up)QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
