Security Analyst

Information Security AnalystThe Information Security Analyst will audit and monitor systems containing confidential data, support compliance with state/federal regulations, and assist with system security, logging, auditing, and vulnerability management. You will also participate in federal/state audits and help maintain security standards and procedures.Key Responsibilities:Monitor security conditions and report findings to leadershipAssist with log configuration, analysis, and reportingParticipate in audits (IRS, SSA, OCSE, FBI, SBOA) and help remediate findingsDevelop information security policies, standards, and SOPsRecommend security safeguards for new and existing systemsPerform periodic security audits and generate reportsStay updated on laws affecting privacy, network, cloud, and data securityCollaborate with IT teams across systems, development, and operationsMentor junior staff and support additional tasks as assignedRequired Skills:Strong knowledge of security tools, policies, and NIST guidelinesExperience with vulnerability scanning and remediationFamiliarity with domain structures, authentication, certificatesStrong written & verbal communication skillsAbility to work with diverse technical teamsSecurity degree or certifications (CISSP) preferredNetwork admin experience preferredIf you're interested, please reply with your updated resume, availability, and best time to talk.
