Tax Supervisor- Mesa

Vaco Arizona is hiring a Tax Supervisor for a top company in Mesa! This is a direct hire, hybrid opportunity paying up to $105,000/year. In this role, you will work closely with the Payroll team while overseeing tax operations and leading a team of Tax Specialists. Responsibilities Supervising and mentoring a team of Tax Specialists, including training, performance management, workload balancing, and goal development Serving as the subject matter expert for payroll tax processes and supporting the Payroll Manager and Tax team Ensuring accurate tax processing through documentation, training, and compliance oversight Researching and implementing tax processes for new states and localities Preparing and filing original and amended federal, state, and local tax returns, including corresponding payments Proactively preventing penalties and non-filing notices through strong deadline management and compliance practices Qualifications 5+ years of tax experience within a corporate environment 1+ year of supervisory experience Benefits & Compensation Salary: up to $105,000/year. Additional discretionary bonuses may be available. Eligible for medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
