Job Description:

Registered Nurse needed for Telemetry unit with experience in Level 1 Trauma care. Must be proficient in advanced cardiac life support and basic life support procedures, and capable of interpreting EKG, titrating drips including Amio, Cardizem, and Insulin, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Triage and manage patient care in a 48-bed Neuro Tele unit.
• Ensure strict adherence to sterile field techniques in SIMs Lab exercises.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Nurse Aides, SWAT RNs, and pharmacy services.
• Participate in floor-specific orientations and administer bedside reports.

Requirements:

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with preference for neuro experience.
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia and SIMs Lab exams upon orientation.
• Compliance with stringent appearance standards including natural hair color and clean shave for men.
• Possession of a valid driver's license, as per submission requirements.
