Quality Technician With CMM ExperienceLocation: Swartz Creek, MIShift: 3:00pm - 11:30pmPay: $18-23.00 – based on experience Overtime may be requiredAre you detail-oriented and experienced in quality inspection? Our client is seeking a Quality Technician to support their manufacturing operations by inspecting products throughout the production process to ensure quality standards are met.Responsibilities:Perform receiving and incoming inspections on raw materials and componentsComplete first piece and set-up inspectionsConduct in-process and final inspections to ensure product qualityUse measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gaugesDocument inspection results and maintain quality recordsMaintain organized QA files and documentation systemsAssist with gage calibration and trackingFollow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized (5S) work environmentQA techs verify accuracy of components to the original print using Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipmentRequirements:Experience in a quality or inspection role within a manufacturing environment preferredBasic knowledge of measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, height gauges)Must have CMM experienceBasic math skills including fractions and decimalsBasic computer skills, including scanning, saving documents, and typing reportsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionallyStrong attention to detail and problem-solving skillsAbility to work safely around moving mechanical equipmentWhy work for Qualified Staffing?We offer a fantastic benefits package to all of our employees.
