About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Data Governance Lead to play a pivotal role in the organization's data governance program. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the governance strategy, framework, and operating model for the Enterprise Data Platform. This includes defining and implementing governance standards, policies, and processes to ensure that data is trusted, secure, compliant, and effectively managed. The role involves close collaboration with business and technology stakeholders to drive the adoption of governance capabilities and continuous improvement across the data ecosystem. The Executive Director will also be accountable for monitoring compliance with data governance policies and standards and may lead cross-functional project teams to educate stakeholders and implement new security and compliance standards. Applicants for this role at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with at least 10 years' of experience in enterprise-level data governance, data management, or a related field. A strong background in data governance frameworks, policies, and their practical implementation is essential, as is experience in data privacy, security, and quality best practices. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing enterprise initiatives, teams, and engineering solutions, and be adept at aligning technical solutions with business goals.
